Go look at the slo-mo replay again. When they showed it right after the buzzer, it was slow enough where you could see that before Fisher made any contact w/Barry, Barry walked off the pump fake. He stepped back with his left foot on the pump, and lifted his right foot moving forward before the ball touched the ground.

So it was either a walk or a foul that was no-call. Take your pick. </div></div>
Just like I said- no blood, no whistle- not even for a walk. NBA is like horse racing. I'd as soon watch them clean the track.

I don't know if Barry would have gotten foul shots because I can't recall if San Antonio was in the bonus or not. Yes, he should have jumped into Fisher while shooting to draw a shooting foul like most players do, but that call should have been made.

Sure the Spurs could have made more shots, but the Lakers could have not let the Spurs come back from 14 down. The Spurs were down 6 or 7 within two minutes to play and get within 2 points with 2 seconds and then have that effort wiped out by an obvious foul that wasn't called. I think there would have been no hesitation to make that call if that had been Kobe Bryant behind the three point line in that situation.

And just why is Joey Crawford officiating Spurs playoff games? I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but the guy was suspended last year for his bias toward Tim Duncan and the Spurs. Why give the perception that there could be bias toward any team? I would have thought the Tim Donaghy situation would have made the NBA a lot more cautious about the referee assignments.

Another issue, is why the shot clock didn't reset in the Lakers previous possession. I believe the ball caught a little rim on the way down when it went off of SA and out of bounds. Instead, LA had to throw up a shot off of the inbounds instead of getting fouled and possibily shooting foul shots.

That's all assuming that Barry's "effort" didn't include a walk--which it did clearly if anyone goes back and watches it.

I'm a Lakers fan--and Fisher fouled him, but Barry walked before that. With 2 seconds left, they let it play out and didn't call anything b/c both guys on the play did something wrong. I don't see what's horribly wrong with that.

Kobe clearly walked around half court with around 25 seconds to go as well.

I don't see much of a walk there- definitely no more than any other walk that doesn't get called in the NBA. Fouls are easier to call and I think one should have been called. A lot of the NBA analysts disagree and to the Spurs credit they are not crying about it. So I guess I'll live with it too.

You forgot to mention how many Manu Ginobili forearms were in his side pushing him back towards halfcourt that weren't being called.

Goes both ways man. Different scenarios though--Barry walked before Fisher made contact, Kobe walked due to being pushed backwards by Manu. Look at the cause & effect of it.

everything you guys are talking about are all 'no calls'...The idea is get the teams to the finals, and put the whistle in your pocket and let them play....
